Six Gymnasts Recognized

STANFORD, Calif. – Six Stanford gymnasts were recognized on the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, the conference announced Wednesday.

Senior Taryn Fitzgerald was selected to the second team for the third consecutive year. A product design major from Houston, she maintains a 3.73 gpa and was a finalist for the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
Sophomore Kyla Bryant, junior Kaylee Cole, sophomore Rachael Flam, senior Hailee Hoffman and junior Aleeza Yu earned honorable mention.
 
To be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competition.
 
Hoffman, a product design major, received honorable mention in 2018 and was a second-team selection in 2017. Cole, who is majoring in science, technology and society, earned honorable mention in 2018. Bryant is majoring in science, technology and society, Flam is undeclared, and Yu is majoring in linguistics and psychology.
