STANFORD, Calif. - Senior defender Julia Massaro and sophomore attack Ali Baiocco were named Inside Lacrosse Media All-America honorable mention on Tuesday.

Massaro and Baiocco were also named to the IWLCA All-Region first team and All-Pac-12 first team this year.

Massaro, who was also a Media All-America honorable mention selection last year, finished her career with program records for draw controls in a game, season and career -- all of which she set in 2019. The defender broke her own school record with 103 draw controls, and in the process, became the first Cardinal to surpass 200 career draw controls, finishing with 224.  The Purchase, New York, native also led the team with 45 ground balls and added 14 caused turnovers. Massaro, who was a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree and is set to graduate with a degree in management science and engineering.

Baiocco led the Pac-12 in points in 2019, and was second in goals and third in assists. She was just the fourth Cardinal to reach the 50-goal plateau in a season (52), and her 80 points ranked third-most in school history behind the program's all-time career points leader Kelsey Murray, who had 87 in 2017 and 89 in 2018. The Harding, New Jersey, product also added 28 assists, which was fifth-most in a season in school history. Baiocco, who was a second-team all-region selection last year, earned Pac-12 All-Academic second team honors earlier this month.

Stanford finished the 2019 campaign at 13-6 overall and 7-3 in the Pac-12 play. The Cardinal, which reached the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in 10 seasons, has now won at least 12 games in all but one of the 11 years under head coach Amy Bokker.
