STANFORD, Calif. - No. 1 Stanford cruised past Hawai'i 6-1 on Thursday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium, closing out an undefeated three-match homestand to open the season.

The Cardinal (3-0) captured the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, winning at the top two courts.

Niluka Madurawe contributed her first dual match win of the season, prevailing 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.

Emily Arbuthnott's 6-3, 6-2 victory increased the lead to 3-0 while Sara Choy provided a 6-3, 6-1 clincher at No. 4.

Stanford returns to action Feb. 7-10 at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Chicago, Illinois.
