Brink to Jordan Brand Classic

STANFORD, Calif. - Incoming freshman Cameron Brink will suit up in the 2020 Jordan Brand Classic on Friday, March 27th at 4 p.m. PT in Chicago.

Brink, who signed with the Cardinal in November, was also picked to play in the McDonald's All-American Game on April 1 in Houston. She becomes the 10th Stanford signee to be selected to the Jordan Brand Classic, joining current Stanford players Jenna Brown, Maya Dodson, Kiana Williams, Anna Wilson, Nadia Fingall and DiJonai Carrington. Williams was named the MVP of the West Team after leading all scorers with 20 points in 2017. Brink will play on the home team at the JBC.

Joined by Agnes Emma-Nnopu and Jana Van Gytenbeek, Stanford's incoming freshman class is currently ranked sixth nationally by ESPNW HoopGurlz.

Brink, a 6-foot-4 forward, is a five-star talent and the No. 3 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100.
 
A two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year (2018, 2019) and two-time Oregonian 6A Player of the Year (2018, 2019), Brink played her first three prep seasons at Southridge High School and is wrapping up her high school career at Mountainside High School this year. As a junior, Brink averaged 21.3 points and 11.1 rebounds and guided her team to the Oregon Class 6A state final and a 25-4 record. She was named the USA TODAY Oregon Player of the Year, Naismith High School All-American honorable mention and to the MaxPreps High School All-America second team.

As a senior, Brink is currently averaging over 20 points and nearly 14 rebounds per game, also chipping in three assists and nearly three blocks and steals each time out. 

She is currently on the 10-person watch list for the 2020 Naismith Trophy Girls' High School Player of the Year.
 
A USA Basketball veteran, Brink won gold medals with the United States at the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand alongside future teammate Francesca Belibi and the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup in Minsk, Belarus alongside Belibi and Haley Jones.
