LA QUINTA, Calif. – Stanford Men's Golf moved up to ninth as Henry Shimp and Daulet Tuleubayev both sit inside the Top 10 at The Prestige presented by Charles Schwab. Shimp and Ethan Ng led the way on Tuesday with matching 3-under 68s, while Tuleubayev fired a 1-under 70.  
 
Over at Coral Mountain Golf Club, Barclay Brown posted a 7-under 65 at The Prestige Individual Tournament. Brown's 65 was tied for the 22nd-best score in program history.

T9. Daulet Tuleubayev -3 (69-70=139)
Stayed steady at a tie for ninth … had five birdies on the day … started with three birdies in the first five holes.
 
T9. Henry Shimp -3 (71-68=139)
Moved up 14 spots and sits in the Top 10 … his 3-under 68 featured five birdies against just two bogeys.
 
T28. Ethan Ng +1 (75-68=143)
Moved up 26 spots with a 3-under 68 … was even on the back nine where he started the day … began the front nine with three straight birdies and tallied four total on the front nine.
 
T66. Freddie Lee +8 (75-75=150)
Had a birdie at No. 16 to highlight the round.
 
73. David Snyder +12 (76-78=154)
Tallied two birdies in the round.

The Prestige Individual Tournament is being contested at Coral Mountain Golf Club, a par-72, 7,145-yard course.
 
3. Barclay Brown -10 (69-65=134)
Career-best round and best round by a Stanford golfer in 2019-20 with a 7-under 65 … totaled four birdies on the front nine and three on the back nine … bogey-free round … tied for the 22nd-best round in program history by total score.

Matched his career-best round of 69 from Monday … totaled four birdies against one bogey on the day.
 
31. David Leede +11 (82-73=155)
Was 1-over for the day, a nine-stroke improvement from Monday's round … had four birdies on the day.
