AUSTIN, Texas - No. 12 Stanford cruised past TCU 4-0 on Friday afternoon in a neutral-site match to open its Texas road swing.

The Cardinal (7-1), which posted its fourth shutout of the season, is chasing two more quality nonconference victories before Pac-12 play opens in two weeks.

After securing the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, Stanford added to its lead when TCU was forced to forfeit at the No. 6 spot.

Sara Choy followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory on court five before Janice Shin provided the clincher with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4.

Stanford faces host No. 3 Texas on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT.
