Casey Doubles Up

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Conor Casey repeated as the conference's 3-meter springboard champion, collecting his second title in as many nights at the Pac-12 Championships.

After placing sixth in the preliminary round with an average of 348.90, Casey produced a score of 442.05 in the final. Casey was also crowned champion last year as a freshman, when he scored 382.40 in the final.

Casey's 3-meter conference title is the 11th in school history. He is the first Cardinal diver to win both the 1-meter and 3-meter championships in the same season since Kristian Ipsen in 2015.

Teammate Noah Vigran was next in line at 413.85, giving the Cardinal a 1-2 finish.

The Cardinal will compete at Pac-12 Championships next week from March 4-7. Points from tonight's diving event will be added to next week's totals.
