WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – Stanford Men's Golf moved up one more spot on Saturday at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate, finishing the weekend with a 5-over 869 in 15th place.
 
Three golfers tied for team honors with 1-under 71s on Saturday in the final round, as seniors Henry Shimp and David Snyder, along with sophomore Ethan Ng, tied that mark. Daulet Tuleubayev's 4-under 212 marked the best score for Stanford throughout the tournament.
 
15. Stanford (+4, 295-284-289-868)
T56. Ethan Ng (E, 74-71-71=216)
Started on No. 10 and was 2-over on his first nine holes of the day … was 3-under on his second nine of the day, with three birdies in a five-hole stretch.
 
T71. Freddie Lee (+2, 71-70-77=218)
Also started on No. 10 and had a tough first nine holes but was 1-under on his second nine with two birdies.
 
T79. Henry Shimp (+3, 73-75-71=219)
Made three birdies on the day, all coming in a four-hole stretch.
 
T79. David Snyder (+3, 77-71-71=219)
Was 2-under on the front nine and totaled three birdies in the round, closing the tournament with back-to-back 71s.
 
T99. Barclay Brown (+10, 78-72-76=226)           
Made three birdies during the final round on Saturday.
 
Individuals:
T32. Daulet Tuleubayev (-4, 70-68-74=212)
Closed the event with a 74 but finished at 4-under, marking the Cardinal's best score of the tournament.
 
The Cardinal return to action in just over a week for The Prestige at PGA West in Indian Wells. The three-day event will be 18 holes Monday, Feb. 17 through Wednesday, Feb. 19.
