FORT WORTH, Texas – Continuing its road trip in Texas, No. 8 Stanford fell to No. 12 TCU, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.
Axel Geller and Neel Rajesh picked up their second-straight win over a ranked doubles pair, triumphing by a 6-4 margin. The Horned Frogs batted on courts two and three, taking the opening point for an early lead.
Timothy Sah leveled the match at 1-1 with a straight-sets win on court five, 6-4, 7-5. The victory is Sah's ninth of the season, and his first in the fifth position.
The Horned Frogs took control with tight wins at No. 1 and No. 4 to close it out. Stanford returns to action March 4 at home against Ohio State, with first serve set for 1 p.m.
