da Silva's District

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A first team All-Pac-12 selection earlier this month, junior forward Oscar da Silva has added to his collection of accolades with a second team all-district honor from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The award is the first of da Silva's career from the organization.

da Silva led the Cardinal with 16.1 points per game this season, which ranked 10th in the conference. His 58.4 percent mark from the field was the third-best in the league, and he paced the team with 6.3 rebounds per night. He reached double figures 24 times this season, including four-double doubles and seven 20-point outings, with his career-best 27 points coming at the hands of then-No. 11/12 ranked Oregon in a 10-point victory.

The NABC honor is Stanford's first since KZ Okpala was recognized a year ago. Stanford went 20-12 this season, for the Cardinal's first 20-win season since going 24-13 in 2014-15. The 2019-20 campaign also marked the Cardinal's first 20-win regular season since 2007-08.
