Three-Time All-American

STANFORD, Calif. - Junior Michaela Gordon was named an ITA All-American for the third consecutive season, receiving accolades in singles.

Stanford's highest-ranked player at No. 12, Gordon was one of 20 players in the country to earn All-America honors in singles before the season was shortened by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Gordon finished the season at 19-5 overall, sharing the team lead in victories with Sara Choy (also 19-5 overall). Gordon went 4-3 in duals, playing all of her matches at the top spot in the lineup. Gordon captured two singles crowns in tournament play, winning her third career ITA Northwest Regional Championship in October before claiming the Freeman Memorial Championships title in January.

Gordon finished 7-4 against nationally-ranked opponents and 2-1 against Pac-12 foes during her junior season.

Gordon is 65-27 overall and 31-17 in duals over her singles career. A member of two NCAA championship teams (2018-19) and three Pac-12 title squads (2017-19), Gordon has played 92 of her 95 career singles matches at the No. 1 position.

Stanford finished 10-2 overall and 1-1 in Pac-12 play during the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
