Five Earn Academic Recognition

STANFORD, Calif. – Led by bioengineering major Stephen Moye, five members of the Stanford men's volleyball team earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, the league announced today. 

Moye (4.00), who is a repeat honoree, was joined on the all-academic team was fellow senior Eric Beatty (management science and engineering – 3.42), who is a three-time selection. Juniors Kyler Presho (psychology – 3.06) and JP Reilly (computer science – 3.79) and redshirt freshman Justin Lui (3.42) earned recognition for the first time in their careers. The group was recognized for their combined work athletically and in the classroom.

Grand Canyon led the conference for the third straight year with 12 honorees, while the Cardinal tied BYU and Pepperdine for the second-most in the league.

To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, have spent at least one academic year at the institution and must have competed in fifty percent of their team's competition this season.
