Academic Recognition

STANFORD, Calif. - Seven members of the Stanford women's water polo team earned All-Academic status by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, announced Monday. 

The Cardinal featured at least seven on the list for the 17th straight season.

Led by senior Hannah Shabb (earth systems - 3.70) and Emalia Eichelberger (human biology - 3.46), both three-time honorees, the Cardinal also saw acknowledgement for two-time selection Sarah Klass (human biology - 3.64) and first-time selections Lauren Bywater (history - 3.14), Chloe Harbilas (undeclared - 3.68), Lauren Indart (undeclared - 3.39) and Madison Stamen (undeclared - 3.75).

To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, have spent at least one academic year at the institution and must have competed in fifty percent of their team's competition this season.
