2020 All-America list Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. -- Nine Cardinal were named All-Americans on Tuesday by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Without NCAA finishes at the indoor and outdoor championships to determine All-America honors, the USTFCCCA recognized everyone who was to compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of the indoor and outdoor seasons.

In the case of relays, individuals who participated in the race that qualified them for the NCAA's were recognized as All-Americans.

With recognition in the men's 3,000 and distance medley relay, Alex Ostberg earns his sixth and seventh All-America honors. Christina Aragon (women's mile) earns her sixth, and Julian Body (men's DMR), Ella Donaghu (women's 3,000, DMR) and Jessica Lawson (3,000, DMR) each earn their fourth. Ashlan Best (women's DMR) and Brandon McGorty (men's DMR) earn their second such honor.

Stanford's list includes two first-time All-Americans: junior Julia Heymach (women's mile, distance medley relay) and freshman Matt Rizzo (men's DMR).
