STANFORD, Calif. - Kelsey Bing has been named the America East Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced Thursday by the league office.
Bing graduated from Stanford with a 3.95 GPA, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. Already named CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, NFHCA National Scholar-Athlete, America East Fall Scholar-Athlete and America East Elite 18 winner for her prowess in the classroom this season, Bing's has cemented her legacy of success both on the field and in the classroom. Bing led the Cardinal to three America East championships in her time on The Farm, including a win in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in 2019. She finished her career at Stanford as a two-time All-American, three-time America East Goalkeeper of the Year and the program's all-time leader in career saves with 418.
