STANFORD, Calif. – Thirteen swimmers and divers have been named Academic All-America by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
Student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher who were invited to compete at the NCAA championships were eligible for the award. Selections were drawn from 209 universities with 1,479 swimmers and divers earning the recognition.
Conor Casey (undeclared), Ethan Foster (undeclared), Matthew Hirschberger (aeronautics and astronautics), Alex Liang (economics), Brennan Pastorek (management science & engineering) and Hank Poppe (mechanical engineering) were named first-team. Honorable mentions include Shane Blinkman (undeclared), Johannes Calloni (international relations), Jon Cook (undeclared), Mason Gonzalez (undeclared), David Madej (undeclared), Andrew Matejka (undeclared) and Neel Roy (undeclared).
