STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford and California faced off for the second consecutive weekend in a non-scoring meet on Saturday afternoon at Avery Aquatic Center.
The Cardinal collected eight event titles, highlighted by two victories from Daniel Roy. In the LC 200 breaststroke, Roy established a personal-best time of 2:08.89, surpassing his previous top mark achieved at last summer's World University Games. Roy also produced a school-record 1:51.64 in SCY to lead a Cardinal sweep.
Other notable swims included: Ethan Hu's personal-best 45.47 in the 100-yard butterfly represented the fifth-best mark in school history, Ethan Dang's 1:55.57 in the 200-yard breaststroke ranked No. 13 in school history and Luke Maurer's time of 42.95 in the 100-yard freestyle was a personal best and ranked No. 13 in program history.
Meanwhile, Leon MacAlister made his collegiate debut after redshirting last season.
