STANFORD, Calif. - Junior Chloe Harbilas and senior Sarah Klass combined for nine goals, leading No. 3 Stanford to a 16-7 win in its home opener versus No. 15 San Jose State, Saturday, at Avery Aquatic Center.

Harbilas scored a career-high five goals, helping Stanford improve to 51-0 all-time against San Jose State. Stanford led 6-2 at halftime and had six different goal scorers in the game.
Klass notched four goals and a steal for the Cardinal, while freshman Jewel Roemer led the team with nine points, including three goals and six assists.
The Cardinal had three players in goal against the Spartans. Redshirt senior Emalia Eichelberger earned the start and registered eight saves for Stanford in 24 minutes played. Freshman Maya Avital and Kit Sturm shared the remaining time with Avital collecting a save.
