SAN ANTONIO – Competing against Incarnate Word on Saturday and Sunday, Stanford earned a 98-92 victory over the Cardinals.

Stanford won the Tech A elements with an average of 76.9471 on Saturday, topping UIW at 73.0462. Seniors Jacklyn Luu and Caitlin Klauer took first and second, respectively, in the Tech A competition, with Luu managing an 82.9231. Klauer finished with a score of 82.2788, while junior Alexandra Suarez took third at 81.7212 as the Cardinal claimed each of the top three spots.

The two teams also competed the trio and duet on Saturday, as Klauer, Hailee Heinrich and Audrey Nguyen combined to score a 79.550 in the trio to win the event. Grace Alwan, Ava Jih-Schiff and Suarez followed in second (77.800), while Sophia Susac, Sabrina Walsh and Natalie Greenfield took fourth with a score of 72.650.

Luu and Emmanuella Tchakmakjian teamed in the duet, earning a share of the event title with a score of 80.0000. Klauer and Suarez finished third after managing a 79.150.

Shifting to solo and team competition on Sunday, Stanford's squad of Grace Alwan, Jih-Schiff, Klauer, Luu, Nguyen, Suarez, Tchakmakjian and Heinrich won the team title with a score of 82.6000 – more than six points better than UIW's top team at 76.3000.

Luu represented Stanford in the solo competition, taking second behind UIW's Natalia Vega. Vega managed an 82.3000, with Luu scoring 81.300.
