TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 18 Stanford beach volleyball program moved its winning streak to eight straight matches with a doubleheader sweep at the Pac-12 South Invitational on Saturday. The Cardinal is now 9-3 overall.
 
Stanford defeated host No. 14 Arizona in the first match of the day, its third win this week over a ranked opponent. The Cardinal won at the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 flights to clinch the match, which was tied 2-2 until a third-set victory by Maddie Dailey and Jordan McKinney.
 
In the afternoon match, the Cardinal posted five, two-set victories to defeat Utah.
 
Stanford will close out an eight-match, spring-break road trip with two more matches on Sunday at the Pac-12 South Invitational. The Cardinal will play Arizona State for the second time this week at 12:45 p.m. before a matchup with Washington at 3:15.
