PHOENIX, Ariz. - Freshman Rachel Heck tallied six birdies on Friday at Papago Golf Club to power Stanford to the team lead in the Ping/ASU Invitational. Heck finished with a tournament-best 5-under 67 to lead the field, while the Cardinal shot a 4-under 284 as a team. 

Stanford is one of two teams under par, leading host Arizona State by one stroke. Heck also leads ASU's Linn Grant by one stroke on the individual leaderboard. 

Sophomore Angelina Ye tallied five birdies in the round en route to a 1-under 71 on Friday. 

The Cardinal tees off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday off the first tee, with freshman Rebecca Becht going off No. 10 with the individuals.
