The Cardinal doubled its advantage in the 42nd minute after the first-career goal from De Sota. Wehan and Richmond connected on the left flank, with Richmond drilling a cross through the six box for a tap-in from De Sota.
UCLA saw a red card in the 56th minute, which led to a flurry of Stanford shots in the immediate aftermath. Segal, scoring his fifth of the year, took advantage of a defensive mistake and scored on a breakaway in the 68th frame.
Stanford returns home to Cagan Stadium on Saturday, April 3 when it hosts San Diego State. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
