STANFORD, Calif. – No. 38/26 Stanford blanked Hawai'i 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
Stanford (12-3, 7-2 Pac-12), which posted its sixth shutout of the season, has won 77 of its last 82 home matches.
Fittingly, it was Emma Higuchi providing the clincher on Senior Day, which began with a pre-match ceremony also honoring classmates Emily Arbuthnott, Michaela Gordon, Taylor Lallas and Janice Shin.
Among the accomplishments for Stanford's five-member senior class: two NCAA titles (2018, 2019), three Pac-12 crowns (2017, 2018, 2019), 100-12 overall record, 37-3 Pac-12 record and 53-3 record at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
The Cardinal locked up the doubles point for a 1-0 lead before convincing victories from Sara Choy (6-3, 6-1) and Niluka Madurawe (6-2, 6-1) extended the lead to 3-0.
Higuchi then delivered the clincher, her second of the season and 12th of her career.
Stanford wraps up its regular season on Friday, hosting California at 1:30 p.m.
