National Recognition

STANFORD, Calif. – The recognition continues for Stanford senior Ali Baiocco, who has been named the IWLCA Division I National Offensive Player of the Week and the US Lacrosse Division I Women's Player of the Week.

Baiocco led Stanford to road wins over Arizona State, 22-21 in double overtime, and USC, 16-15 last week. Against ASU, the attacker registered seven points, including four goals and three assists. She followed up by matching her school single-game record with eight goals, including the game-winner, at USC on Sunday to clinch Stanford's first-ever Pac-12 regular season title and 15th conference championship overall.

On Monday, Baiocco secured her second Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season and the fifth of her career.

The Cardinal moved up to No. 13 in the Division I Coaches Poll after last weekend's performance. Stanford wraps up the regular season on Saturday at Noon at California.
