Three Earn MPSF Honors

STANFORD, Calif. – Three Cardinal were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-conference teams, as the league released its annual awards Wednesday.

Senior Kyler Presho earned All-MPSF honorable mention, while Nathan Lietzke and Will Rottman were named to the All-MPSF Freshman Team. Stanford now has 106 all-conference selections all-time.

Presho is now a four-time all-conference honoree. The middle blocker leads the MPSF with a .438 hitting percentage and ranks fourth with 1.02 blocks per set. He's averaging 1.81 kills and 2.36 points per set in 2021. The San Clemente native matched his career-highs in kills (14) and blocks (8) in back-to-back matches against Concordia to close out the regular season.

Stanford's starting setter, Lietzke ranks sixth in the MPSF with 8.94 assists per set. The Austin, Texas native recorded career-highs in assists (50) and digs (10) in the regular-season finale against Concordia (April 3) for his first collegiate double-double. He also has 32 kills on .303 hitting and 33 blocks this season.

A native of Santa Barbara, Rottman has played outside hitter and opposite for the Cardinal this season. He leads the team and ranks ninth in the MPSF with 3.14 kills per set and is 10th in the league with 3.47 points per set. He registered double-digit kills in eight of his 11 matches played.

BYU's Gabi Garcia Fernandez repeated as MPSF Player of the Year, while Grand Canyon's Camden Gianni was voted MPSF Freshman of the Year.
