Sweep in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – No. 6 Stanford women's rowing continued its unbeaten start, sweeping host USC and No. 18 UCLA on Saturday in Los Angeles.
 
Stanford's varsity eight was in control from the start, rowing to a 13-second victory after crossing the line in 6:29. The second varsity earned a second-straight open water victory, finishing with a time of 6:44, 19 seconds ahead of second-place UCLA.
 
The varsity four rowed to a 17-second win, stopping the clock at 7:33, while the third varsity posted the Cardinal's largest margin of victory of the morning, finishing 37 seconds ahead of UCLA with a time of 6:52.
 
The Cardinal is now 3-0 heads up against its three Pac-12 foes heading into the conference regatta.

Stanford returns to action May 16 at the Pac-12 Championships on Lake Natoma.
