  • Stanford women's golf begins NCAA Championship play on Friday at Grayhawk Golf Club, which will be set up as a 6,384-yard, par 72 layout. The Cardinal is making its 11th-straight appearance at NCAA Championshps and its 35th in program history.
  • The Cardinal lineup will be Rachel Heck, Angelina Ye, Sadie Englemann, Brooke Seay and Aline Krauter. Stanford tees off Friday's first round at 11:30 a.m. off the first tee with Wake Forest and Ole Miss, while Saturday's second round will tee off the 10th tee at 6:30 a.m.
  • Sunday's third round will be based on scoring, with the top 15 teams making the cut following the third round. Monday's fourth round begins at 10 a.m. Following Monday's round, the top eight teams will advance to match play at the NCAA Individual Champion will be crowned.
  • The Cardinal is coming off a dominating NCAA Stanford Regional, which it finished at 28-under and won by 30 strokes. Stanford set school records for 18 (-13, second round), 36 (-25) and 54 holes (-28) during the regional.
  • Freshman Rachel Heck has five wins on the season, the most in a single season in school history and the fourth-most by an individual for a career in school history. Heck won both the Pac-12 and NCAA Regional and is a finalist for both the ANNIKA Award and the WGCA Player and Freshman of the Year awards.
