Geller, Fery Earn Pac-12 Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – After helping lead Stanford men's tennis to its first Pac-12 championship since 2015, and first outright title since 2003, senior Axel Geller and freshman Arthur Fery have garnered All-Pac-12 accolades from the conference. Geller was selected to the first team, while Fery earned second team recognition.

Geller, who played 11 of his 12 matches at No. 1 singles, went 6-6 on the season in singles and 8-5 in doubles play. Three of Geller's wins came against ranked opponents, with the Buenos Aires native going 4-2 in conference matchups. The All-Pac-12 selection is the third for Geller, who was a first team selection in 2019 and a second team honoree in 2018. He was ranked as high as No. 20 nationally in singles and No. 11 in the country in doubles this season.

Fery burst onto the scene during his freshman campaign, leading the team with 13 singles wins and 12 doubles victories. Fery went 5-2 in conference matchups, and tallied a 4-2 record over ranked opponents this year. He was ranked as high as No. 36 in the country by the ITA.

Stanford went 11-6 this season, including a 6-1 first-place mark in the Pac-12. The Cardinal advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
