U23 National Team

STANFORD, Calif. – Earning the opportunity to represent the United States, Peter Chatain of the men's rowing team and Kelsey McGinley of the women's rowing team have been invited to the 2021 USRowing Under-23 National Team Selection Camp, held June 1-20 at the University of Iowa. Additionally, assistant coach Molly Hamrick was chosen as an assistant coach for the camp.
 
Athletes selected through the camp will represent the U.S. at the 2021 World Rowing Under 23 Championships July 7-11 in Racice, Czech Republic. The camp will select the athletes who will represent the U.S. in the women's eight, women's four with coxswain, women's four and women's quadruple sculls in Racice.
 
Stanford women's rowing took second at the Pac-12 Championships, including a victory in the varsity four. The men's team placed fourth overall after finishing third in both the varsity eight and second varsity.
 
The women compete this weekend at the NCAA Championships in Sarasota, Florida, while the men trek to West Windsor, New Jersey for the IRA Championships.
