STANFORD, Calif. – Excelling in the classroom and on the water, the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches of America (IRCA) announced 15 Stanford rowers have been named National Scholar-Athletes.
In order to qualify for the honor, athletes needed to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, be of at least sophomore standing academically and have competed in the top three boats during the current season or raced at the 2021 IRA Championship.
Stanford men's rowing had the fifth-place varsity eight boat at the IRAs this year, and the third-fastest at the Pac-12 Championships.
