STANFORD, Calif. – Four-time Olympian and Stanford standout Logan Tom has been selected one of nine inductees into the 2021 International Volleyball Hall of Fame.

The 35th induction class includes Tom (USA),  Giovane Gavio (Brazil), Sergio Dutra Santos (Brazil), Taismary Aguero(Cuba/Italy), Sergey Tetyukhin (Russia), Clay Stanley (USA), Ricardo Santos (Brazil), Todd Rogers (USA) and Andre Meyer (Luxembourg) inducted as a leader.

Tom and the Class of 2021 will be celebrated at a gala dinner and ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 16 in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Stanford's fifth four-time AVCA All-American, Tom led the Cardinal to two Pac-10 titles and the 2001 NCAA championship. A two-time AVCA National Player of the Year, she was the Honda Award winner for volleyball as a junior and senior. A two-time Pac-10 Player of the Year, Tom still ranks second all-time at Stanford in service aces (171) and fourth in kills (1,939).

A four-time Olympian for the United States, including the 2000 Games while a member of the Cardinal program, Tom won silver medals at the 2008 and 2012 Games. She has played with various professional teams around the world and is currently coaching the Israeli national team.

Since 1985, the International Volleyball Hall of Fame has inducted 146 players, coaches, administrators and leaders from 24 countries throughout the world. All of the inductees are celebrated for their outstanding achievements and accomplishments. As the highest honor in volleyball, induction into the Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding contributions to the sport.
