HONOLULU – ESPN Events unveiled the bracket for the 2021 Diamond Head Classic, with Stanford set to face Wyoming in the opening round on Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. PT at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. The opening bout will be broadcast on ESPNU.
The Cardinal is making its first appearance in the tournament, which will operate the 12th edition in its history, dating back to 2009. Stanford will face either Northern Iowa or Liberty on Dec. 23, while BYU, Hawaii, South Florida and Vanderbilt fill out the opposite side of the bracket.
Tickets are expected to go on sale to the general public in October. Additional information for the family-friendly tournament and resort destination of Honolulu, Hawai'i, can be found on the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic website.
The tournament will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
