Tight End U

Three former Stanford tight ends caught touchdowns, continuing the tradition of #TightEndU.

  • Zach Ertz caught his first touchdown of the season, totaling four receptions for 53 yards in the Eagles' 41-21 setback on Monday Night Football to the Cowboys.
  • Austin Hooper caught a 13-yard touchdown to highlight his day in the Browns' 26-6 win over the Bears. Hooper had two receptions for 19 yards in the game.
  • Dalton Schultz had his first career two-touchdown game, totaling six catches (seven targets) for 80 yards. He became the first Cowboy with a multi-TD game since Dec. 2018.

QB1 Davis Mills

Davis Mills made his first career start in Houston's 24-9 loss to Carolina on Thursday Night Football, finishing 19-of-28 passing for 168 yards and a touchdown. Mills faced pressure all night, as he was sacked four times and under pressure on nearly 40% of dropbacks.

Party in the Backfield

Linebacker Bobby Okereke started and had eight tackles (six solo) and a sack in the Colts' 25-16 setback to the Titans.

  • Cornerback Paulson Adebo started his third straight game and made five solo tackles in New Orleans' 28-13 win at New England.
  • Henry Anderson had one tackle in the Patriots' loss to the Saints, playing 20 total snaps.
  • Wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside played 70% of the Eagles' special teams snaps in their 41-21 loss to Dallas on Monday Night Football, playing 28 total snaps in the game.
  • Jake Bailey had five punts in the Patriots' loss to the Saints, averaging 56.6 yards per punt with a long of 68 yards and one inside the 20.

  • Blake Martinez started at linebacker and made two tackles in the Giants' 17-14 loss to the Falcons before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
  • Christian McCaffrey totaled 40 yards on nine touches (seven carries, two receptions) before leaving the game with a hamstring injury. 
  • Ty Montgomery recovered a blocked Jake Bailey punt, playing 69% of special teams snaps and 21% of offensive snaps in the win over the Patriots.
  • Offensive lineman Andrus Peat started and played every offensive snap in the Saints' win over the Patriots.
  • Outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett played 82% of special teams snaps and 22% of defensive snaps with one tackle in the Dolphins' overtime loss to the Raiders.
  • Kaden Smith had one reception for nine yards in the Giants' 17-14 loss to the Falcons.
  • Solomon Thomas totaled four tackles, four QB hurries, a forced fumble and ½ sack in the Raiders' overtime win against the Dolphins.
  • Casey Toohill tallied a QB hit, a QB hurry and two special teams tackles, playing 86% of special teams snaps and 13% of defensive snaps in Washington's 43-21 loss at Buffalo. 
  • Cameron Fleming (Broncos), Harrison Phillips (Bills) and Justin Reid (Texans) were all inactive.
