STANFORD, Calif. -- The 2022 schedule was announced by Stanford women's gymnastics Tuesday. The Cardinal will compete in 10 regular-season meets throughout the 2022 season, including four home meets inside Maples Pavilion. Three of Stanford's regular-season competitions and the Pac-12 Championships will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
The Cardinal starts competition on the road, taking on rival California at Haas Pavilion on Jan. 16 (Pac-12 Networks, 2 p.m.). Stanford continues its season away from home with a tri-meet at Arizona, taking on the Wildcats and Oklahoma on Jan. 22 (4 p.m.), followed by a trip to Salt Lake City against Utah (1 p.m.).
Stanford makes its home debut on Feb. 4 with its second Big Meet of the season, welcoming the Golden Bears to Maples (Pac-12 Networks. 7 p.m.). Eight days later, the Cardinal hosts Pac-12 foe UCLA for a Saturday matchup (2 p.m.).
The Cardinal takes a break from conference action Feb. 19, competing in the Metroplex Challenge with expected competitors Oklahoma, Denver, and Washington (4:45 p.m.). Stanford continues non-conference competition on Feb. 21, hosting BYU and Sacramento State for a tri-meet in Maples Pavilion (2 p.m.).
Stanford rounds out the regular season with two Pac-12 meets, traveling first to Corvallis, Oregon, for a bout with Oregon State, Feb. 25 (Pac-12 Networks, 7:30 p.m.). The Cardinal returns home for its senior night and final home meet on March 4 when Arizona State comes to The Farm (6:30 p.m.).
The Cardinal finishes its regular season slate with a tri-meet at Washington, taking on the Huskies and Utah State March 6 in Seattle (2 p.m.).
The Pac-12 Championship is March 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah, NCAA Regionals are scheduled for March 31-April 2 and the NCAA Championships are April 14-16 in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Cardinal roster is composed of 17 returnees and four freshmen.
Fifth year senior Kyla Bryant and junior Chloe Widner highlight the Cardinal's returners. The duo accounted for 12 of Stanford's 14 event titles in 2021, while Bryant became the Cardinal's first Pac-12 champion since Elizabeth Price (2018) when she won the conference floor title with a season-high performance of 9.95 at the Pac-12 Championships.
Single-meet tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Nov. 29, beginning at 10 a.m. Fans are also encouraged to check out the all-new Cardinal W Pass for additional access to women's gymnastics tickets and other ticketed women's sporting events.
