KAILUA KONA, Hawaii - Stanford women's golf capped a perfect fall season with a win at the Pac-12 Preview on Wednesday at Nanea Golf Club. The Cardinal claimed a four-stroke victory over USC, finishing with a 1-under 875. More impressively, Stanford was without four golfers, including Rose Zhang, Rachel Heck, Caroline Sturdza and Rebecca Becht. All four are competing at the Spirit International this week.
Junior Brooke Seay led the Cardinal, finishing tied for third with a 5-under 224. It marked Seay's fifth career Top-10 finish. Senior Aline Krauter finished tied for sixth with a 2-under 227. It was Krauter's 12th career Top 10. Sophomore Sadie Englemann registered her fifth career Top 10, finishing tied for sixth, matching Krauter with a 2-under 227.
Stanford will next compete at the Lamkin Invitational on Feb. 14-15.
