STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford fell to Utah 52-7 on Friday night at Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal (3-6, 2-5 Pac-12), which has lost four straight games, suffered its most lopsided loss since a 57-7 defeat to Notre Dame in 2003.
Playing without injured starting quarterback Tanner McKee, Stanford struggled offensively in totaling 168 yards overall.
The Cardinal's lone score came from Isaiah Sanders, who rushed for a four-yard touchdown with 10:14 remaining in the third quarter.
Sanders (2-3, 29 yards) and Jack West (12-18, 59 yards) shared quarterback duties in McKee's absence.
E.J. Smith finished with seven carries for 54 yards while Austin Jones rushed nine times for 33 yards.
Benjamin Yurosek finished with a team-high four catches for 42 yards.
Utah built a 38-0 halftime lead and was paced by Tavion Thomas, who ran for four first-half touchdowns on the way to 177 yards.
