STANFORD, Calif. - Six players scored in double figures, while Stanford shot 55 percent from the floor, as the Cardinal took care of business in its lone exhibition of the season, 105-35 over Clarke.

Ranked No. 3 to start the season, Stanford looked the part, scoring at will against the undermatched Pride, an NAIA program from Dubuque, Iowa.

Reigning NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player Haley Jones led the way with 14 points and four rebounds, joined in double digits by Elena Bosgana (11), Kiki Iriafen (11), Hannah Jump (11), Francesca Belibi (10) and Cameron Brink (10). Iriafen grabbed 11 rebounds for the double-double.

Six different players hit a 3-pointer for the Cardinal, including three from sharp-shooter Jump. Graduate transfer guard Jordan Hamilton led a solid defensive attack for the Cardinal with four blocks, while no player played more than 18 minutes for Stanford.

The Cardinal held a 27-11 lead after the opening 10 minutes, punctuated by a driving layup from Lacie Hull. Stanford dominated the battle of the boards, 53-22.

The second quarter belonged to the defending champs, who outscored the Pride 31-4, ending the period on a 28-1 run. The Cardinal scored at least 22 points in each quarter and only allowed one player from Clarke to score double digits.

Stanford opens its regular season next Thursday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m., hosting Morgan State. The Cardinal will celebrate its 2021 national championship on Sunday, Nov. 14 vs. Texas.
