2022 Schedule Announced

2022 Schedule Opens in a new window

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2022 football schedule on Thursday morning.

Stanford will open the season with back-to-back home games against Colgate (Sept. 3) and USC (Sept. 10) before its bye week. The Cardinal, with a week three bye, is the only team in the Pac-12 with a bye week prior to week six. Stanford will then play 10 straight weeks to conclude the season.

After its bye week, Stanford will play back-to-back road games at Washington and Oregon. Both schools will have first-year head coaches in 2022. The game at Oregon will begin a stretch where Stanford will play 2021 bowl teams in eight of the last nine games of the season.

The Cardinal returns home on Oct. 8 to host Oregon State, before traveling to take on Notre Dame on Oct. 15. Stanford concludes the month of October with a home game against Arizona State (Oct. 22) and a road game at the Rose Bowl against UCLA on Oct. 29.

The Oct. 22 game vs. Arizona State will serve as Stanford's Reunion Homecoming game.

Stanford hosts Washington State on Nov. 5 before back-to-back road games at Utah (Nov. 12) and at California (Nov. 19) for the 125th Big Game. The Cardinal then hosts BYU on Nov. 26 to conclude the regular season.

The Pac-12 Football Championship Game will once again be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 2.
