Women's Gymnastics

Schedule Change

STANFORD, Calif. - As Stanford women's gymnastics continues to ramp up training, the Cardinal made a change to its schedule, replacing a team meet against Pac-12 foe Arizona on February 26 with a competition against San Jose State on Saturday, February 27.

Motivated to return to competition as soon as possible, Stanford is prepared to showcase individual performances across a number of events. Arizona, which enters the week having participated in four team events during the 2021 season, elected to pursue an alternate matchup that would allow it to compete as a full team.

Not wanting to lose a weekend of competition, the Cardinal added San Jose State to the schedule, as the Spartans were also looking to showcase individual performances as they ramp up for the season.

The Saturday home meet against San Jose State is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.

While Stanford Athletics will continue striving to create an opportunity for student-athletes to compete in their upcoming season, all decisions regarding training and competition will be based on the conditions and the guidance provided to us by public health officials and our university administration.
