STANFORD, Calif. - Sophomore Riley Loos was named College Gymnastics Association Specialist of the Week this week after posting a 14.250 on still rings to win the event title at Oklahoma on Saturday.
Loos, who ranks second nationally on the event with an NQA of 14.250, guided Stanford to a 68.300 on rings this past weekend.
The native of El Dorado Hills, Calif. also managed a season-best 14.350 to take second behind OU's Gage Dyer in the floor exercise.
With the still rings title from Saturday, Loos has now compiled nine event titles – including three on rings.
A three-time MPSF Gymnast of the Week selection, this is the first honor of Loos' career from the CGA.
