Luczak, Rusher Earn National Team Calls

STANFORD, Calif. – Continuing to compete at a high level since their graduation from The Farm, women's rowing alumnae Grace Luczak and Alie Rusher have earned calls to U.S. selection camps. Both rowers are looking to book their tickets to the Olympics in Tokyo this summer.
 
Luczak, an Olympian in 2016 who took fourth in Rio, was one of 25 athletes invited to the USRowing Women's Sweep Boat Olympic Selection Camp. Luzcak rowed in the five seat of Stanford's 2009 NCAA Champion varsity eight, and was a three-time All-American at Stanford.
 
Rusher, a 2018 graduate of Stanford, is at the USRowing Women's Quadruple Sculls Selection Camp. She is one of 10 athletes in contention. Looking for her first Olympics appearance, Rusher was an All-American in 2018.
 
The entire U.S. Olympic Rowing Team will be selected by June 6. The women's rowing program has had at least one alumna selected in each of the last four Olympic games.
