All-Conference Honors

STANFORD, Calif. – Redshirt freshman Caitie Baird and freshman Elena Oglivie were recognized by the Pac-12 when the conference announced its annual awards, Wednesday.

Baird was named to the 18-player all-conference team and selected to the all-freshman team, while Oglivie earned all-conference honorable mention. Stanford now has 149 all-conference selections all-time, including honorable mention.

Baird, an outside hitter from Indianapolis, led the team and ranked third in the Pac-12 with 3.89 kills per set and fourth in the league with 4.46 points per set. She was also third on the team with 2. 64 digs per set. She led the Cardinal with five double-doubles in nine matches played. Baird recorded 20 or more kills in her final three matches, including a career-high 25 in both matches at No. 8 Washington (March 26 & 28).

A libero from Honolulu, Oglivie led Stanford and was third in the Pac-12 with 4.00 digs per set. She finished with a team-high 160 on the season and averaged 0.73 assists per set. She was one of just three players on the team to appear in all 40 sets this spring. She turned in double-digit digs in nine consecutive matches, reaching the 20-dig plateau on four occasions.

Utah's Dani Drews was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year, while Arizona's Sofia Maldonado was tabbed Freshman of the Year. UCLA's Zoe Fleek was selected the Libero of the Year, while Washington's Ella May Powell earned Setter of the Year and Keegan Cook was Coach of the Year.
