LOS ANGELES – Carolina Sculti has made a habit of winning to start the new year.
Sculti won her third event of the week, and second of the Bruin Diving Invite, after winning the 3-meter diving event with a score of 747.95, Saturday. On Friday, the senior also won the 1-meter to lead a 1-2 Cardinal finish in the
event. Sculti was followed by freshman Maria Papworth in second with a score of 707.10 to give Stanford a 1-2 finish in both events at the Bruin Diving Invitational.
Fellow freshman Lauren Burch finished fourth (649.30) and Daria Lenz finished 10th (594.70) to put all four Cardinal divers competing this weekend in the top 10.
The Bruin Diving Invite will conclude tomorrow on the platform.
