  • No. 13 Stanford continues its 2022 season on the road, heading to Arizona to take on the No. 20 Wildcats, No. 4 Oklahoma, and No. 22 Utah State in Tucson at McKale Center Saturday at 3 p.m.

  • The Cardinal impressed in its season opener, totaling a 196.275, the program's best performance since March 6, 2020. Super senior Kyla Bryant put on a show in Haas Pavilion, totaling a then-nation-leading all-around score of 39.675. She brought home four event titles, leading the way on bars, beam, floor, and in the all-around competition. Her efforts throughout the meet earned her recognition as the conference's Gymnast of the Week
  • At Cal, senior Wesley Stephenson stepped back into Stanford's beam rotation (opted out in 2021) with a stellar 9.85 performance. Her boost helped lead the Cardinal to a 49.275 on beam and earned her the Pac-12 Coaches' Choice Award for the week of Jan. 18. 
  • In her first meet representing the Block 'S', freshman Brenna Neault shined with scores of 9.75-or-better on all four apparatuses. With the scores from her debut, she ranks as the 27th-best all-around gymnast in the nation. She was recognized by the NCAA as a freshman to watch in an article on NCAA.com released Tuesday. 
  • After one week of competition, Stanford boosted its initial Road to Nationals ranking by 20 places (opened the season at No. 33). The Cardinal is currently tied-for-No.13 in the RTN rankings. 
  • Stanford boasts top-20 national rankings on three of the four apparatuses, ranking fourth in the nation on beam, T-12th on bars, and T-16th on floor.
