STANFORD, Calif. – Will Rottman and Ethan Hill combined for 29 kills to lead No. 13 Stanford to a 28-26, 25-16, 25-20 win over Menlo College, Friday, in Burnham Pavilion.

The Cardinal (7-3) played in front of a home crowd for the first time in 706 days. Stanford out hit the previously undefeated Oaks, .337 to .234. The Cardinal finished with seven aces, including two apiece by Rottman, Hill and Kevin Lamp.
 


Rottman led all players with 17 kills on .536 hitting, while Hill added 12 kills on 14 swings with just one error for a match-best .786 attack percentage.
 


Junior setter Nathan Lietzke dished out 38 assists and had three digs. Redshirt junior libero Justin Lui finished with a team-high six digs to go with two assists.
 


Junior middle blocker Nathaniel Gates tallied seven kills on .364 hitting, four digs and two blocks. Junior outside hitter Kevin Lamp added five kills and four digs, while sophomore opposite Luke Turner had four kills, four digs, a block and an ace.

Menlo was led by Konrad Stoklosinski's 11 kills on .409 hitting and had a match-high seven digs.

Stanford remains on The Farm next week, hosting CSUN on Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. in Maples Pavilion. The match will be televised on Pac-12 Bay Area.
