No. 1 Stanford women's golf dispatched No. 8 San Jose State, 5-1, in a dual match at CordeValle Golf Club on Thursday. Both programs had agreed to a match-play event in the fall in order to aid preparation for NCAA Championships later this spring. Stanford won all four of its team events in the fall schedule, before a second-place finish to San Jose State at the Lamkin Invitational last week to begin the spring campaign.
