Pac-12 Play Resumes in LA

- No. 13 Stanford is 11-2 on the season, including five ranked wins and a perfect 8-0 record at Taube Family Tennis Center.
- Stanford opened Pac-12 play with Utah, posting a 4-0 victory on March 11. The Cardinal returns to Pac-12 play this weekend for the first two of four-consecutive road matchups, two of which join Stanford in the ITA top-20 (USC, Arizona), while UCLA and Arizona State slot in at No. 59 and 61, respectively. 
- Stanford is 66-75 all-time against USC, and 1-1 this season. The Cardinal won at home, 4-1, but fell at the ITA Indoor Championships in Seattle, also by a 4-1 scoreline.
- Arthur Fery is the nation's No. 2 ranked singles player, and became Stanford's first No. 1 ranked player in over 10 years earlier this spring. He holds a 19-2 overall record this season, including a 9-0 mark in dual action. Fery is 7-0 against Pac-12 opponents and 7-2 against ranked foes as a sophomore. Stanford has two singles players ranked this week, Fery (2) and Max Basing (58), and two doubles teams: Fery/Rotsaert (15) and Fery/Geller (48). Six different singles players have been ranked at one point this season.
- Aryan Chaudhary ranks second on the team 16 singles wins, while Max Basing has 13. Eight athletes have at least three dual wins. 
- The pair of Fery and Rotsaert holds a 19-5 record together, and also reached the championship match at ITAs this fall. 
- Axel Geller became the 40th singles player in program history to reach 40 dual singles wins on March 11 against Utah.
- The Cardinal finished the 2020-21 season as Pac-12 champions in men's tennis for the first time since 2015, while the title was the program's first in outright fashion since 2003. The Cardinal went 11-6 on the season with a 6-1 mark in Pac-12 play, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Charlottesville, Virginia.
- Arthur Fery and Axel Geller return as All-Pac-12 selections from a year ago, while Geller also earned CoSIDA Academic All-America distinction.
