MALIBU, Calif. – No. 25 Stanford women's tennis saw a five-match winning streak come to an end on Sunday at the hands of No. 6 Pepperdine. The Waves won, 4-1, dropping the Cardinal to 7-2 on the season. Both losses have come on the road to Top-10 teams.
Pepperdine took the doubles point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3, before wins at No. 6, 3 and 2 in singles. No. 18 Connie Ma grabbed the Cardinal's lone point of the afternoon, with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over No. 23 Taisiya Pachkaleva.
Stanford is back in action at Taube Tennis Center next weekend, when it hosts Colorado on Friday and Utah on Sunday.
