Success at Pacific Coast Doubles

LA JOLLA, Calif. – Four Stanford men's tennis tandems took the courts at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship, with the duo of Arthur Fery and Alex Rotsaert winning four matches and earning a semifinal appearance to lead the way.

Fery and Rotsaert, ranked as the ITA's No. 7 duo, dispatched opponents from four schools to reach the semifinal, including teams from Nebraska and USC. The pair fell in three sets in the semifinals to end the event at 4-1 overall.

Max Basing and Aryan Chaudhary picked up a pair of wins to reach the quarterfinal, while the pairs of Tomas Kopczynski and Timothy Sah and Alex Lee and Dean Stratakos each went 1-1 with a round of 64 appearance.

The tournament marked Stanford's final tune-up before Pac-12 play begins on Friday, March 11 against Utah. The contest at Taube Family Tennis Center begins and 2 p.m. PT.
