- No. 8 Stanford begins postseason action as the team heads to Tucson, Ariz. for the 2022 Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship tournament April 27-29, hosted by No. 17 University of Arizona at Bear Down Beach. - The double-elimination tournament gives the Cardinal two different paths to a spot in the Championship match:
- The Cardinal enters the 2022 tournament as the three-seed, its best ever seeding since the tournament began in 2016.

- In Stanford's last trip to the conference championship tournament, the Cardinal advanced to the final day of the conference championships for the first time in program history. Stanford swept No. 11 Cal on the final day of competition before a 3-0 setback against No. 1 USC in the Contender's Bracket final eliminated the Cardinal from conference championship contention.
- No. 8 Stanford finished the regular season with a 3-1 showing at the Stanford Invitational, splitting Sunday's efforts with a 4-1 loss to No. 7 Grand Canyon and a 5-0 sweep of Saint Mary's. The Cardinal's 2022 regular season will go down in history as Stanford's best, as the team tied the program's most wins in a single season (23) with its victory over the Gaels.
- With sophomores Xolani Hodel and Kate Reilly's two victories on Sunday, April 24, Reilly set a new program record for most wins in a single season by an individual, with 24 wins under her belt so far in 2022. The previous record of 23 wins was held by Sunny Villapando and Courtney Bowen, who both achieved their historic marks during the 2018 season.
- After a 4-0 weekend with wins over two top-15 programs, Hodel and Xolani were named the final Pac-12 Pair of the Week for the 2022 season. Other notes on their performance:
- 3-of-4 wins came in straight-set fashion.
- Came back from a first set defeat to earn the Cardinal's only point against No. 7 Grand Canyon.
- At 18-4 this season, the duo is one win away from matching the most wins by a Cardinal pair in a single season.
- The Cardinal currently has eight individual players with 20-or-more individual wins throughout the season, the most in program history and three more than any other previous season (5 in 2021).
- Stanford is building an impressive resume for postseason action. The NCAA Committee will select 16 teams to compete at the 2022 NCAA Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala.

- All losses this season have come to a ranked opponent, with eight losses handed to the Cardinal by teams ranked in the top-10 with five of those defeats coming from the No. 1 or No. 2 team in the nation (at time of play)
